This home, at 443 North 16th street, was built in 1905 by Dr. F. B. Fite, a pioneer physician. He served 2 terms as
Mayor of Muskogee. Prior to statehood Dr. Fite's name was one of those considered for Oklahoma's first governor.
In 1953, this historic home was converted into a medical facility by 2 sons, Doctors J. Patton Fite and E. Halsell Fite.
